It's Super Bowl Sunday!  Who you rooting for?

Me: I'd like to see Peyton Manning go out with a victory.  Besides, rooting for Belichick, Brady and the Patriots is kinda like rooting for Exxon/Mobil.

My hearts's with the Broncos even though I think the Panthers will probably win.  For the Broncs to pull it off they'll have to play a mistake-free game and keep the score down.

So.  It's either going to be:

Broncos 21
Panthers 17

OR...

Panthers 42
Broncos 17

We shall see.

Two Years? Really?

Has it really been more than two years since I last posted?

It is. Shameful.

OK, one of my 2013 resolutions is to write more, so this is my promise to you that I'll be more diligent.

Which won't be tough, given that my last post was almost 26 months ago. Stay tuned.

The Season Winds Down

Typical Saturday here: laundry and Sports Talk on the radio in the morning, followed by a little college football on the TV.

Right now both my Alma Maters are in action: Illinois is losing a slugfest to Michigan 28-21, and Minnesota is down 14-0 to Michigan State.

Have a 9:00 AM tee time tomorrow morning; hope the combination of moving the clocks back and warmer temperatures will allow us to get out on the course. This time of year every round you manage to get in is a gift, as Winter's inexorable march forward can't be stopped, only delayed.
